Su buena forma está haciendo que se gane el respeto de los más experimentados defensas centrales de la liga. El que se perderá el encuentro es Konsa. Por ahora, Aston Villa es uno de los equipos que más goles ha marcado cuando le toca jugar en su estadio. Ha marcado 30 goles, al igual que Arsenal y Liverpool, ambos por encima de ellos en la tabla. Este factor es uno a tomar en cuenta para éste encuentro.

MANCHESTER UNITED es el primero de ese segundo bloque de equipos. Actualmente es el sexto en la tabla con seis puntos de diferencia con el quinto de la tabla. Los diablos rojos siguen su cojeante paso por la Premier League y ésta vez le tocó ganar de forma clara también, venciendo al West Ham 3-0. Con ésto apenas logra su segunda victoria en fila y espera incrementarla, gracias a que parecen decididos a marcar más goles. En los últimos tres partidos ha promediado tres goles anotados, y está invicto en lo que va de año. La mala noticia es que Lisandro Martínez volvió a lesionarse y estará alejado de los campos de juego por al menos dos meses más. Afortunadamente, la salud está acompañando a Varane, Maguire y Lindelöf, quienes son los llamado a cubrir esa vacante. Como visitante, no han podido destacarse, con apenas cinco victorias y un empate en 11 encuentros.

Ambos equipos estarán en un escenario donde han cuidado muy bien su portería, pero sin caer innecesariamente en el juego horizontal aburrido y la posesión de balón sin sentido. BRIGHTON es el octavo de la tabla de posiciones gracias a su abultada victoria frente al Crystal Palace 4-1 en su último encuentro. Esto fue realmente un alivio, en vista de que no ganaba desde hace más de un mes. Ansu Fati está de vuelta, y eso también tiene contento a muchos. Esperamos que pueda incorporarse bien a la talentosa delantera que tienen las gaviotas, con Joao Pedro y Ferguson.
