MANCHESTER CITY vs. ARSENAL

MANCHESTER CITY está en el tercer puesto de la tabla, pero no lo aparenta. La distancia es muy poca, apenas un punto del primero y del segundo. Logró arrebatar un punto en Anfield en el último encuentro de la liga y de esa forma mantuvo al Liverpool a la misma distancia. El precio de ese duro encuentro fue interrumpir la racha de 3 victorias que había logrado. Ahora bien, el Liverpool es el que mejor ha defendido su estadio en ésta campaña, porque no ha perdido, y sólo tres equipos han logrado apenas empatar allí: los dos de Manchester y el Arsenal. Además, mantiene una diferencia de goles de 26, bastante buena para imponer respeto al llegar al estadio. Este partido se jugará dos horas y media antes del City vs. Arsenal, por eso, los reds tratarán de sumar tres puntos otra vez, y de lograrlo, serán de nuevo los primeros y se sentarán a ver el partido en Manchester, con la posibilidad de mantenerse como nuevo líder.

BRIGHTON por fin volvió a ganar luego de dos partidos, ésta vez frente al Forest. Actualmente está en el puesto octavo, a un puesto del peor lugar que ha conseguido ésta temporada. Llega a esta jornada con mucho ruido alrededor del furturo de Ansu Fati, en vista que no es seguro que pueda seguir la temporada que viene, pero tampoco que se pueda quedar en su equipo en España. Y quizás el tema financiero no sea lo único a considerar, sino también las constantes lesiones y las dudas en cuanto a su buena forma, en vista que no ha deslumbrado como el diamante que muchos esperaban. Por otro lado, el entrenador Roberto De Zerbi sigue sonando para pertenecer a otro club la temporada que viene. ¿Será el Brighton otra vez acreedor de unas cuantas libras esterlinas por transferir a su entrenador?

MANCHESTER UNITED venció al Everton en la última jornada, pero aún está muy lejos de lograr meterse en el top 4 de la tabla. Parece más seguro que deberá conformarse con alguna otra competición europea para la próxima temporada, quedándose en ése sexto puesto del que son dueños desde febrero. Bueno, pero es que es razonable, por el nivel que están mostrando y todo el ruido mediático que hay a su alrededor con temas como el de su entrenador. Respecto a eso, se habla mucho de las posibles expectativas que tenga el nuevo dueño del club, donde podría contemplar un reemplazo para el actual entrenador. Los nombres que suenan son muy diversos, desde Zidane, pasando por de Zerbi y terminando en Mourinho. La buena noticia es que vuelve Lisandro Martínez de su dolorosa lesión. Los diablos rojos han logrado vencer en siete de los partidos en los que le ha tocado ser visitante. Pero ha perdido en seis de ellos.

La última vez que estos dos se enfrentaron en casa de las abejas terminó 4-0 a favor de los locales. ¿Terminarán los diablos rojos picados de abejas de nuevo?

EL JUGADOR

RICHARLISON está de vuelta, y dispuesto a seguir aumentando sus números favorables, gracias a su versatilidad cuando conforma la delantera de los spurs.
