MANCHESTER UNITED vs. LIVERPOOL

MANCHESTER UNITED fue la víctima del Chelsea en la última jornada en uno de los mejores partidos que hemos visto en éste año. Primero tuvimos en 2-0, luego se transformó en un 2-3. Y a partir del minuto 100 tuvimos otro cambio y terminó 4-3 con par de goles de Palmer. Con éste resultado se mantiene en la posición 6 de la tabla. Ellos deben ajustar muchas cosas, pero tal vez una de las que más han llamado la atención es que es uno de los equipos que más recibe disparos en contra en la liga, y mucho tiene que ver el constante cambio en la rotación de jugadores de esa línea por causa de las lesiones. Pero ahora se prepara para ser el anfitrión el fin de semana. En ésta condición tiene un diferencial de goles de +1, mostrando las dificultades que tiene para resguardarse bien y al mismo tiempo ser productivo.

LIVERPOOL ganó al último de la fila pero con cierta dificultad. Ahora su racha es de dos victorias seguidas y sigue de primero. Jurgen Klopp ha encomiado al argentino Alexis por el importante papel que ha tenido en éste partido y los últimos. Y es que ha obrado bien en el marcaje defensivo y en el armado del juego. Y por supuesto, su pegada de larga distancia ha resuelto algunas situaciones difíciles. Por eso, no cabe duda de que lo tendremos en Old Trafford desde el inicio. También, el entrenador alemán ha dicho que es un tramo importante donde para poder coronarse deben acercarse a la perfección para no dejar puntos en el camino. Y hay buenos registros a este respecto, porque de visitante éste temporada sólo ha perdido en Londres frente al Arsenal y al Tottenham.

BRIGHTON vs. ARSENAL

BRIGHTON empató frente al Brentford, y en los últimos tres encuentros ha tenido los tres resultados posibles. Está en la posición 9 y parece haber firmado su presencia en la siguiente temporada de Premier League. Está por encima del Chelsea, lo cual habla muy bien de lo que ha hecho en éste año. No obstante, encara éste duelo con las ausencias de Ferguson, Mitoma, Gilmour y March, por lo que Roberto de Zerbi deberá adaptarse y saber qué cartas usar. Lo bueno es que sus decisiones han logrado palear algunos resultados para mantenerlos en una zona segura. ARSENAL hizo lo propio frente al Luton en Londres, ganando 2-0 y se mantiene a dos puntos del Liverpool. Aún es duda si podrá contar con Saka para éste encuentro. Mientras tanto, Arteta ha dedicado unos minutos para elogiar a su entrenador rival, quien podría decirse que es discípulo del mismo maestro, aunque recibiendo clases de forma remota. El Arsenal como visitante acumula nueve victorias, tres empates y tres derrotas, lo cual resulta toda una preocupación para las tribunas del Amex Stadium. Con todo, la pregunta importante es qué tanto variará Arteta a su plantilla, porque la semana que viene debe enfrentarse al Bayer Munich. BRENTFORD arañó un empate frente al Brighton, siendo el segundo que consigue de forma consecutiva. Se extraña la mejor versión de Toney, quien lleva siete partidos sin marcar. Ahora bien, ¿será la oportunidad de volver a ver a Maupay? Lo cierto es que sólo seis puntos los separan del descenso, por eso, lo mejor que podría pasarles es que la temporada terminara hoy mismo. De visitante tampoco les ha ido muy bien, porque tienen un registro diametralmente opuesto a su rival: 11 derrotas y sólo 3 victorias, con un diferencial de goles de -8.
