Apple crippling fruit industry in huge loss growers weeping

Mohd Amin peer from pinjura who heads the Mega fruit Mandi Shopian telling the news agencies that an apple growers starts from selling apple box more than 1000 rupees which is sufficient for A grade. But this time many factors are responsible for apple price drop. During early September weather was not good it was raining cats and dogs this was one factor for apple falling from tree we call it in local language giraana these fallen apples were selling outside the state at fair prices like Punjab,UP etc but this year was different. Second reason was road mishaps and shooting stones which lead them closure of roads and halts the thousands of loaded trucks which in turn leads the apple to decompose. Finally apple industry is in huge loss in Jammu and Kashmir.

We are dependent upon fruit industry if we loose it we will loose all the wealth this year please pray for our industry
