Gym day at last + 15000 activity count
Slowly, I'm getting back into this regular exercise thing. On Thursday, I did the famous P90x ab ripper, which I do plan to discuss in a future post, and today I managed to drag myself down to the gym I frequented for many a year here in Nottingham at the University I spent half my life at.
The walks each way, and some time on the treadmill, rowing machine, stepper, and bike pushed the total Steps/activity count close to 15000, but i still needed to look like a complete tit and walk around the house for a bit. The beer helped, and so did the music - calories countered!
15000+ is what you need to collect a raffle ticket for the @actifit and @blocktrades contest for a free ticket and accommodation at Steem Fest 4. Although it's unlikely that I will make it, I'm still here trying to raise awareness and show willing. Actually, if I did get pulled out of the hat come the middle of October, I don't think that I'd accept the prize due to the fact i'm involved in collating the results each week - that just doesn't seem right.
Second week of the Premier League fixture this weekend, and I seem to have had a bit of a shocker with regards to my fantasy league team. I'm hoping that the scores are low all round and think this will be the case due to most teams conceding, and the lack of landslide victories.
I was close to bringing Mane in this week, and think he's going to be a transfer when the option becomes available. I'm also tempted to jinx my team, Manchester United, by bringing in another player - Rashford and Martial look pretty tasty and are bound to get a load of games this year as long as they stay fit.
Anyway, the exercise is coming back into my routine, but it is going to take a miracle to look like the guy above, whoever that is ;)
