Before I got the part when the lifting rule is explaining I was thinking that surely this is dangerous play and not allowed. Harsh!
As you say though, any publicity is good publicity and to show up the next day let the boys know you weren't a soft lad.

Yeah, it's a big no-no in hockey. Maybe because I wasn't expecting it I reacted a little slower. I usually open the batting in cricket so I'm no stranger to people trying to knock my head off!
Yeah, at least you have a moment and are expecting the cricket ball, this just sounds like idiocy from your opponent. But hey, at least it made you look prettier :)
