Estamos a pocas horas de iniciar el Gran Premio de Bélgica de la presente temporada 2022 de la Fórmula 1, y con ello, finalizará este parón veraniego que la Fórmula 1 transita cada año durante el mes de Agosto. Este parón de verano da cabida a todo tipo de rumores y discusiones acerca de posibles contrataciones/salidas de pilotos de sus respectivos equipos, así como cualquier hecho más allá de lo plenamente deportivo.

Esto ha hecho que popularmente esta época del año en la Fórmula 1 se haya ganado el nombre de "Silly season" (temporada tonta), debido a que en lugar de correr autos en la pista suelen "correr rumores y noticias" por los pasillos del circo de la Fórmula 1.

La primera noticia que sacudió al Paddock en este parón de verano fue la salida de Fernando Alonso del equipo Alpine para el final de la presente campaña. Se habla de que el equipo Alpine ha estado sufriendo de diversos problemas internos que los han llevado a perder algunos miembros de su plantilla. Lo mismo ha sucedido ahora con Alonso, quien se dice que incluso sorprendió a todos en el equipo con su decisión mientras todos se iban de Hungría.

Por otro lado, Sebastian vettel anuncia su retiro de la Fórmula 1. Este será su último año en la máxima categoría. Vettel cambió la Fórmula 1 para siempre durante su paso por la misma.
