Heute bin ich schon recht früh auf den Beinen gewesen. Habe dementsprechend morgens das Fitnessstudio besucht und dort nach dem Ansatz von Mike Mentzer trainiert. Die Idee hinter diesem Trainingsstil ist jeden Muskel einzeln zu trainieren aber höchstens mit einem Satz (+aufwärmen). Der Muskel soll in dem einen Satz so stark gereizt werden, dass der Wachstumsimpuls gesetzt ist - nicht mehr nicht weniger. Innerhalb einer Muskelgruppe nach Möglichkeit keine Pausen einlegen. Dementsprechend geht ein solches Workout meist nur eine Stunde oder sogar schneller. Meine Durschnittliche Herzfrequenz war dabei 131 und ist fast kein einziges mal unter 120 gefallen. Ob das Training in dem Stil etwas bringt kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, da ich mit diesem Ansatz vor knapp 2 Monaten angefangen habe, aber fast die ganze Zeit pausiert habe.
Heisst das Experiment beginnt erst jetzt so richtig. Aktuell stelle ich fest, dass ich nach dem Training wesentlich stärker erschöpft bin, als sonst. Kann aber auch meiner Pause geschuldet sein.

Gegessen habe ich heute erneut viel zu wenig. Gerade dafür das ich trainiert habe. Morgen werde ich mich erstmal wiegen.

I was up quite early today. I went to the gym in the morning and trained there using Mike Mentzer's approach. The idea behind this training style is to train each muscle individually but with one set at most (+ warm-up). The muscle should be stimulated so strongly in the one set that the growth impulse is set - no more, no less. If possible, do not take breaks within a muscle group. Accordingly, such a workout usually only takes an hour or even less. My average heart rate was 131 and hardly ever fell below 120. I can't yet judge whether training in this style will help, as I started this approach almost 2 months ago, but took a break for most of the time.
In other words, the experiment is only really starting now. I'm currently noticing that I'm much more exhausted after training than usual. But this could also be due to my break.

I ate far too little again today. Especially for the fact that I've been training. Tomorrow I will weigh myself first.
