10 km Virtual Munich Oktoberfest Run!

With perfect weather I ran a virtual competition today in honor of the Munich Oktoberfest 2020, which had to be cancelled this year due to the Corona Pandemic.

We were a total of 3 runners from my area, with the other two runners running a full marathon. The fastest runner completed the marathon distance in 3 hours 25 minutes. That is a very impressive time.

I needed exactly 1 hour, 1 minute and 2 seconds for my 10 km. This is my best time so far (about 1 minute faster than before).

Bei perfektem Wetter bin ich heute einen virtuellen Wettkampf gelaufen und zwar zu Ehren des Münchner Oktoberfestes 2020, das ja in diesem Jahr wegen der Corona Pandemie abgesagt werden musste.

Wir waren insgesamt 3 Läufer aus meiner Gegend, wobei die anderen zwei Läufer einen vollen Marathon gelaufen sind. Der schnellste Läufer schaffte die Marathon Distanz in 3 Std. 25 Minuten. Das ist eine sehr beachtliche Zeit.

Ich brauchte für meine 10 km genau 1 Stunde, 1 Minute und 2 Sekunden. Das ist bisher meine Bestzeit (ca. 1 Minute schneller als zuvor).
