We would like to first congratulate the hive community for the completion of HF24, long awaited and long prepared for!

Yesterday around 7:10 PM UTC the HF kicked off with some issues initially causing extra chain forks on the old version 0.23, yet with the coordination among top witnesses , the switch to 1.24 went through at 7:30 successfully!

As actifit, we have been busy with preparations from our side to upgrade the current APIs we have across our different services in support of the changes, while also performing sanity checks and testing the reliability of the HF. We actually managed to identify few issues which were quickly resolved by the dev team.

As the HF unfolded, we had literally no downtime for actifit, and users were able to successfully submit actifit reports, use actifit.io via all the different processes including the market, as well as our voting,rewarding and various scripts.

In addition, we also successfully updated our witness node to 1.24.2 prior to the HF and were ready to start signing blocks prior to the upgrade.

We would like to thank all top witnesses who contributed to this effort, particularly @blocktrades and his team and all top witnesses who we vote for and who were there to make it happen and ensure we have a successful HF.

Actifit Gadget Prize Draw Round #14 Results!

We are excited to announce the results of the "Actifit Gadget Prize Draw" #round 14, which took place on October 15 midnight UTC, following HF24!

Over 4 days, the prize pool was 14.057 HIVE, and the winner of the draw was @runridefly. Congratulations !!

As round #14 of this contest concludes, round #15 already kicked off, and you have 3 days 11 hours to take part and WIN!.

As announced before, the rules of the contest are simple:

As you buy gadgets using HIVE, you earn free tickets (1 per gadget) to enter the draw.
The more tickets you have, the more likely you are to win.
Keep in mind you need to have at least 1,000 AFIT to earn tickets to the draw.

AFIT Market Buy Back

Also as announced in the contest rules, we committed to buy back AFIT on the market with 25% of the total amount used to buy gadgets. This amounted to 7.029 HIVE.

Due to the fact that hive-engine is down for the time being following HF24 changes and to perform replay, we will not be able to process buy backs for now, and will do that once functionality is restored.
