Sunday.

The heatwave peaked today. Sunshine all the way, but it's supposed to get cloudy with a good chance of rain tomorrow.

I didn't take any afternoon walk today, I decided to hide from the heat instead. In the evening with the temperatures slowly falling I decided to go take a train back into the city to pick up my car again.

I had hoped it would start normally after a day's rest and without the midday heat... and indeed it did. I waved good-bye to quarantining Hazel at her window and drove back to the village.
