My Actifitivity: September 10 2022

Saturday.

Gotta hurry up to get this report card for yesterday out before I have to resort to using the time-machine again.

The weather has moved to all clouds and frequent rain now. The sun is still powerful, but it didn't come out for more than a few minutes at a time.

 

 

I was a bit late for my morning walk and missed Ronald by an hour or two. No peanut-tax today. That gave me time to noticed this solitary sunflower, though. I know that's not exactly what it is, but I am going to call it that.

 

 

A single solitary sunflower, alone on a barren field. Like a final glimpse of summer in a sea of mud.

So poetic, but that's what winter is like... lots of mud.

But the single solitary sunflower isn't alone, look, a tiny little lonely butterfly is clinging on to the last drops of nectar before this season and his life will have ended.

So dramatic, but that's what nature is like... all life eventually becomes compost.

Love that sole sunflower photo in the middle of the field. Love the close up photos more. :) Serene and symbolic. Too bad about Ronald. I haven't seen posts about him for a while. The kitties too.
