Peak Summer: Tuesday September 3 2024

An amazing sunset to end an amazing day. Can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe today was this summer's climax.

It was basically the same routine as every other summer day this past week but it felt different, urgent and intense.

@isnogud and I were talking about jumping of the higher cliffs a bunch of times this summer, but we always chickened out. Today we finally jumped. It felt great!

We spoke about building a raft several times in the past weeks, and today we did. Well, kinda, you can barely call it a raft, but we did it.

My friend Mirco was watching us and half-joked that this was what he imagined being 42 years old would be like as a child and so I replied that then we must have obviously done at least something right.
