My Actifit Report Card: July 28 2022
I wanted to get my 5000 steps in today so I decided to walk to the the harbor and back.
It’s was a cool sunny summer afternoon in Grays Harbor that was perfect for walking.
I had some trouble with my left knee because it felt jammed and needed a good stretch. I proceeded to walk /hobble to the harbor where I could sit down and then stretch my knee peacefully away from the traffic. On the way to the park bench I pulled in my stomach to take weight off my legs. Pulling into your core can be very beneficial and will take the weight off of your legs with good practice.
There were a lot of cute seagulls sitting in the parking lot sunning themselves and waiting for handouts. I love seagulls and all birds.
I stretched my knee enough to were it felt normal so I proceeded to walk back home. Once I got home I had not done 5000 steps. I continued to walk in the neighbor hood until I walked enough steps to equal 5000.
I saw a flock of cute doves and pigeons that were pretty wild and very skittish when I walked by them.
It is good for them not to be too trustworthy of people. Unfortunately not everyone loves birds as much as I do. I hope some people will have a change of heart though.
