My Actifit Report Card: August 11 2022
Today looked so gorgeous outside the window. It is the full moon tonight and the sky is almost crystal clear.
I needed to go outside today even though I had chills and a fever from my booster vaccine yesterday. I felt kind of weak this morning but knew if I exercised it would move the stuff through my system quicker. It was almost 80 degrees and so nice and warm for my body to take in.
It was tough going up the hill so I stopped and rested on the way. I felt very winded and remembered to breath deep and rest if I needed to. I caught a scent of ripe black berries from the blackberry bushes on the side of the road.
I walked through Elton Bennett Park first because it was cool and shady. I could smell the fragrance
of fir and cedar trees and here a group of crows having an afternoon meeting in the tops of the trees. I saw a wild blue jay and could hear a raven cawing in the distance.
I walked up to the top of Sunset Memorial Park and took in the extraordinary view. It was so peaceful today. I really needed this and felt so much better after my walk. It was worth all the effort to the top. The elevation is 207 feet and I walk up from sea level.
