Black Berries and Tiger Lillies
I love doing my Actifit report! It’s so easy to walk on such a beautiful August afternoon.
I enjoy getting out of my room, stretching my legs while breathing in the fresh air.
It was so peaceful. All I could hear was the sound of a few baby crows cawing in the trees. The crow parents teach the young crows how to fly and hunt. Other crow relatives help teach learning skills as well as watch over the young crows.
On the way up the hill were black berry bushes loaded with ripe black berries. There was a gorgeous tiger lily at the head of Park. I don’t remember the tiger lily being here last year. The city of Hoquiam plants a little garden 🪴 below the sign reading Sunset Memorial Park.
At the top of the park are many beautiful trees with some cherry blossom trees planted in a row lining the side of the narrow rode that runs through the park.
The cell phone tower is at the highest point of Sunset Memorial Park’s landscape. There is also the local reservoir next to the cell phone tower.
