My Actifit Report Card: May 1 2023
My nephew and I took his dog on a walk this morning down by the wildlife refuge. It was chilly and rainy but nice to get out.
That’s the view of the pond with many birds that visit there like Canadian geese, ducks, and great blue herons. The ponds are right next to the harbor.
The woods and swamps are perfect for birds, frogs, and other wildlife.
I needed to get in more steps so I walked through the neighborhood and took back-way up a very steep hill for muscle exercise. I came across my favorite pink cherry blossom trees. They are my favorite spring flowers.
There were many other gorgeous flowers blooming everywhere in the neighborhood.

Not actually moving yet.. Still playing around with the VA...
They forgot to forward some paperwork for me...
I was going to go do it myself, and believe it or not..
They drove over themselves and made pdfs here!
Great, I didn't drive! 😅
But, yeah - honestly this started around 2 years ago... Just starting to do something now...
As someone "erased me" out of their system - in the in-between time, but got all that fixed, and hopefully in a short time I will be moved! 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
But in the meantime.. Running around (for me, for them) and packing, tossing things!

Well that had nothing...
Only because I was going to get medicaid to pay medicare...
The medicaid guy on the phone in the middle said, hey! You need to call the VA...
I had to get documents...
Somewheres on re-entry someone slipped and mentioned I was erased, also..
That my NJ apartment had checked my records in 2021 - still waiting for them..
So I had to get birth certificate, etc.. myself, mostly to prove I am me and alive..🤔
But it seems maybe things are straight...
We'll see👀!
But they have already done some good things to make up for it, so...

It's been a rollercoaster (for awhile actually) but...
Coming out of the tunnel!
My VA "advocate" (nice lady) came over here (they don't do that) to finish some things on Friday. I also think she wanted to check my "environment" as I mentioned things here are heating up!
But it's all still, pretty cool - and I am "So Thankful"! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
BTW...
The real terrible feeling was that I could have ended up driving to NJ from Corpus, pretty much "blind" to the situation - (which is possibly in my case dangerous) Also with negative effects on my Cat...
to live in a Senior Citizens/HUD apartment... Oh with "Medicare"..🤔
And that just to get away from a "BAD" situation.
Yeah... Right into the next one!😲
So I am "ecstatic" that it all went the other way!

I "now" have to get these people moving on the "cottage", they call it - or move on to something else, and I will decide that by Monday....
But I do have the comfort of knowing that most is already paid - which is cool!
