Happy New Year all!
I went on a much needed walk today that was very foggy and I saw some beautiful deer.
This is the Little Hoquiam River and very foggy.
There is a lot of lichen on the trees here because of the damp weather.
The rhododendrons are starting to bloom. It’s too early for them to bloom!
Here is some beautiful heather.
And some beautiful fungus above.

Barb! its too foggy at my place too omg how can you go for a walk I feel so jealous cause am stranded to my blanket stupid winters haha love the deer photos!!

I was sick but starting to feel better now. 😄😅 Now I've been stuck to my blanket!

The 9th picture is a lovely example of Spanish Moss; so whispy and dreamy. I love the look of the fog, especially with the fallen tree. Very nice! Your fungus is Turkey Tail and an awesome specimen and pic of that. You do so well and have such a lovely area to photograph.

I am having snow (earlier this week) and now rain, which makes it difficult to get out. I don't want to get soaked at this point as I fear ever getting over this thing.
I did do a VR workout, so I got some movement.

Hey sis, @adcreatordesign! We got 11.5" of the white stuff, but after all of the rain we've had over the past 3 days, it's almost like it never happened!
My 'bug' remains are a rattly chest cough and I sound like I could sing bass for a rock band. Ironically I am a soprano, lol! I just can't seem to shake the cough and the rough voice. I just wish I'd go back to normal. I did a hike today, so maybe that will help.

Yes, they are kind of use to people around here being friendly towards them. I can get a little close but not too close and I have to move very slowly and not say anything and the same with the birds and any other wildlife or they will run away fly away quickly.
