76ers get a massive win against the Hornets! | Another big one tonight in Miami vs Heat
The Sixers secured a massive win on Saturday and it was as good as I thought it would be! The Hornets came to play in a big way and for awhile I thought the game was getting away from the Sixers. The Hornets were playing with a ton of energy, held a lead as high as 15, and the Sixers didn't hold a lead until the fourth quarter.
But the Sixers remained composed and clutch! Tyrese Maxey returned from injury a little earlier than I thought and the Big Three were out there! Embiid, Maxey, and George played maybe their best game together ever. It was certainly the most important game they played in together and they played like the stars they are. It was amazing! The trio combined for 81 points which was 71% of the team's total!

The three were clutch in their own ways and were clearly locked in. For Embiid and George this might be one of their best chances at winning a title and I get that vibe from them. I sort of feel a sense of urgency coming from them. Maybe it's just wishful thinking though.
As odd as this season has been, and how close to disaster it has felt, the Sixers are actually in a decent position and have won seven of ten games! Now the Big Three is back and suddenly my hopes are once again high! I may be let down but I might not! This Hornets game looked like what I thought the Sixers could look like for the past two years basically.

The Sixers are still in the seventh seed but with a decent bit of momentum. A finish as high as the fifth seed is still very possible. They secured a tie breaker over the Hornets and look to do the same tonight with a win in Miami.
There's a ton of scenarios and things to consider as the Sixers enter their 74th contest of 2025-26. The Heat are a prideful and consistent organization and will certainly be coming with their A game. But I believe in the Sixers right now! Maybe Embiid will try to score a ton on the man who just dropped 83 not too long ago in Bam Adebayo! That's easier said than done though as Bam is no joke, I've got a lot of respect for him. But that would be cool if Embiid did have a big night! I know Kelly Oubre Jr. said that Embiid's 70 point game was more efficient than Bam's 83! Pretty interesting!
Just get the win though!
