Another NBA season practically completed. The Sixers have stunk and we all know this so, this last game does hit a little different and make me look at the big picture a bit.

It was fun covering the Sixers all season long and it definitely feels a bit sad not having a Sixers game to look forward to watching and writing a bit about. This will be my last Sixers post for a bit probably until the lottery and draft and random other news posts but, I do look forward to Halloween time and writing about the Sixers more regularly once again. Hopefully I'll still be writing about a Phillies playoff run around that time.

Yeah, an end of a sports season just plainly reminds you of your own mortality in a way. Who really knows when the last time I'll watch a season of Sixers or NBA basketball will be? I'm glad this final game is in Philly and the Sixers can try to full-on win this game today since their lottery placement is locked in.

The Bulls have a strong chance at rising OR falling in their play-in rankings I believe. It all depends on what the tie-breaking situation is. The Bulls are ninth in the Eastern Conference a game behind the eighth seed Atlanta Hawks and a game ahead of the tenth seed Miami Heat.

Maybe the Sixers still have a chance at impacting the NBA season, even if it's extremely mild. This last game is an afternoon game so it has an interesting energy to it.

I'm just going to enjoy this game, many months till another regular season game, would love to see the Sixers get one last win, why not? Maybe local legend Lonnie Walker IV will go off.

#GOSIXERS!!
