Well, I think the Phillies are fully back now! Not only that, but Cristopher Sánchez is looking like a real Cy Young candidate once again as he threw 13 srikeouts on his way to a complete game shutout of the Pirates! He was just an absolute machine! It only took him 108 pitches to get through the entire game. His changeup is just filthy. Man, it's great to see the Phillies bullpen get some rest as well. Great job by him! Sánchez is now 5-2 with a tremendous 1.82 ERA.

Bryce Harper also hit his 11th homer in the 6-0 victory. Schwarber didn't homer but he did get himself an RBI.

The Phillies have now officially won their sixth series in a row, have reached .500, and look for the sweep! They haven't just gotten out of their slump, but they've pretty much caught fire!

After Sánchez's amazing performance, we may be in for another legendary pitching scenario. As Zack Wheeler, the elite veteran pitcher, faces Paul Skenes, the elite young pitcher! Both have an incredible likelihood of reaching the Hall of Fame. Who knows if we'll ever see them start in the same game again as Wheeler is nearing retirement from what I understand. Sports history I tell ya!

The Phillies have proven to be the better Pennsylvania team! It's a fairly warm, perfect day in the Keystone State too! Let's see how this series finale goes down!
