Sometimes there's a prospect that you like so much, you're not even sure why it's just a gut feeling. I just think Penn State's Jahan Dotson has the 'it' factor.
Dotson is a big time athlete with a great feel for the game of football. He glides across the field with ease and great speed.
Dotson is not the biggest receiver but I like his build overall, I am confident that he will gain some muscle at the next level. His size was not a factor at all in college though and that's why I really became sold on Dotson. Dotson can make some grown man catches. Countless times on tape Penn State's quarterback just ripped passes his way and Dotson would just attack the ball and come down with it no matter how unlikely it may look when the pass is released. There's a good reason their QB trusted Dotson so much and that's because he's a beast.
Dotson plays so fast at all times and he's just always open it seems. When I watch him move and considering his special teams talent, Dotson reminds me of Stefon Diggs.
In summary, Dotson is a super athletic well rounded receiver that can make grown man receptions. I just have a feeling Dotson is going to be something special some day very soon... We shall see!
