My Inexcusably Late Reaction to the Titans getting murdered by the Browns 27-3 last Sunday

In my personal life, I've been really really down in the dumps. And of course the Titans getting absolutely manhandled last week, really didn't help much.

The Titans essentially look like a glorified college team. I mean honestly, it doesn't really take a rocket scientist to analyze this game.

From the jump, the Browns looked like the better team in all phases. The Titans just never stood much of a chance.

The main culprit of that game, was absolutely the Titans SORRY offensive line. It was just abysmal. Every single play, Tannehill had .3 seconds to make a decision. I felt bad for the man. He's taken a lot of hits in these first couple of games. After having TWO bad ankles last season, and him only getting older, it just was not a good look.

It was not even just Tannehill who felt the pressure. Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears had just nowhere to go.

Props to the Browns defense, they were excellent.

Defensively, the Titans weren't AS bad, but they were still pretty bad. SO many missed tackles and SEVERAL missed sacks as well.

Overall, this was a pretty embarrassing game as a Titans fan, especially after I was feeling good after beating the Chargers.

If it wasn't for the Broncos getting historically murdered, I imagine this may have been a more notable beatdown across the league.

BUT I will say, there was a glimmer of hope at one point in time during the game. Before halftime, the Titans were randomly putting together a very nice drive, and had a chance to make it a game. Had they scored a touchdown, the Titans could have went into halftime down by a score WITH the ball starting the second half. Had they scored, the game would have been much more manageable and perhaps that taste of momentum could have catapulted the Titans to play better in the second half. Even a field goal would have been nice.

But of course, the Titans failed to block literally anybody and the Browns sacked Tannehill and the Titans had zero timeouts, so instead of a momentum swing for the Titans, it was instead a momentum swing in favor of the Browns.

So yeah man. Just a really rough game in all aspects. Maybe this loss will age fairly decently, the Browns might be a really good team this season, the potential was always there.

Not an excuse though, I want the TITANS to be a good team. Meh.

Anyway. Titans vs Bengals post incoming shortly.
