Netherlands Native and Eastern Michigan TE Thomas Odukoya gets signed by the Titans!

A few weeks back the Titans signed a tight end prospect from the Netherlands by the name of Thomas Odukoya, and it's not every day you see a European prospect get signed to the the NFL! Odukoya earned his spot by being a finalist in the NFL's International Player Pathway Program!

It's pretty cool to see a unique prospect like him get signed, and more talent added to the tight end room, the better quite frankly. This off-season Jon Robinson has brought together a really interesting group of tight ends, now it's up to the coaching staff to coach and evaluate and determine which tight ends are worth keeping around.

Odukoya has a lot of awesome traits that are either impossible or nearly impossible to teach or develop. Odukoya has gigantic size that you love to see, and he can move well. Big and fast players usually have a decent shot at finding success in the NFL. He is a good athlete. Odukoya plays aggressive and enthusiastic, and I know that's said a lot about players in general, but Odukoya's energy is different at times, different in a good way.

Thomas only started playing American football at age sixteen and when he plays football, he plays with that reckless abandon that you often see in younger athletes. I love it. He is just a big natural athlete who welcomes contact. Some of his run blocking footage just shows Thomas mauling defenders all the way down the field as if the player said something about his momma.

I really like what I see from this dude. He is slightly raw, but not as raw as one might assume a European prospect might be. He looks like a proper football player. Seems just as good as any other prospect I have watched. Thomas may have started late, but he has gathered a lot of experience in a short amount of time. He is from the Netherlands, but he has been playing American football in the North America for quite some time now. He attended two junior colleges before finally reaching Eastern Michigan University which is big boy Division 1 ball. He's played some very solid competition.

I just love his size, he could be an absolute matchup nightmare in the redzone. What linebacker can cover a dude this gigantic?

The Titans have some tight ends, but there is absolutely a lot of question marks in that department. There's certainly a window of opportunity for Thomas to make the team on a more permanent basis down the line, if he can prove himself. He has to be so good he can't be ignored!

He's got some freakish traits and a lot of potential! I wouldn't wanna tackle this guy! Perhaps the Titans found the next Gronk? That would be IDEAL!

This is a very insightful video! I'm rooting for him!

Welcome Mr. Odukoya, #Titanup!
