Phillies get absolutely OWNED by the Mets yesterday...
The Phillies got absolutely HANDLED by the Mets yesterday and well, yeah that was not a fun time.
Actually it was fun for like five minutes because the Phillies actually took the early 3-0 lead and it looked like they were ready to play. Trea Turner hit a lead off triple and then the Phillies added two more in the third. Life was good until the fourth inning, then the fifth, sixth and so on. Yeah the Mets scored in each inning starting in the fourth and the Phillies never scored again. The Phillies lost 13-3.
Wow, yeah let's just forget yesterday because there's nothing really worth remembering. Bad fielding, pitching, and batting. The Mets came in with their season kinda on the line, looking to find momentum and the Phillies could not match that energy, plain and simple.
Also, Jordan Romano cannot pitch. Seriously, it's usually not a good time when he comes in. Knowing that that man is rich and there's homeless people in the world, kind of makes me question life in general LOL.
Yeah well, let's see if the boys have some pride and can bounce back today. Jesús Luzardo is on the mound, and he's looked improved after a rocky-ish stretch for awhile. He's looking for win number 13.
