The Phillies are LOCKED IN as they scored eleven more runs on Wednesday dominating the Mariners 11-2! Kyle Schwarber crushed his 45th homer and had 5 RBI. His average is also .253 right now so he's also hitting pretty well in general not just hitting homers only. He's one RBI shy of 110 on the season, wonder what his stat line will look like by the end of the year! Trea Turner also went 5 for 6 and has been BLAZING hot. José Alvarado made his return and looked good!

The Phillies hold a seriously strong seven game lead over the Mets in the NL East at the moment. The Phillies have been hot while the Mets have not! Ya love to see it. The Mets ended last year hot though so I won't count them out quite yet, although I am close to doing so.

The Phillies face the Nationals once again after just splitting a four game series with them before the Mariners series. Hopefully they can win this three game series at home for a measure of revenge! The Nationals have no hope at the playoffs this season but with the Mets fading a bit, it would be nice to just really dominate an NL East team in a big way and really send a message.

Taijuan Walker on the mound to try and get win number five. It was only a day but I missed the Phils!
