The Sixers lost a very depressing game to the Pistons Saturday. It was really not shocking though with Joel Embiid out and the Pistons being the Pistons. They look good. They are a seriously athletic team.

The loss didn't cost the Sixers their playoff position thank goodness. They're still sitting as the sixth seed in the East. Tonight's win would be good for their playoff aspirations as well as be a huge morale boost. Beating the dominant Spurs would be nuts. It would also make the Pistons loss feel much better.

It's Joel Embiid vs Victor Wembanyama! History man! Two of the more dominant big men in the sport in this era. Nikola Jokić just dropped 40 on Victor and the Spurs in a wild win for the Nuggets on Saturday. I can tell Victor was bothered by that. A few seasons ago Embiid dropped 70 on Victor! Victor has been pretty cocky lately, it would be pretty funny to see Embiid win right after Jokić beat him. It would probably hurt his MVP chances slightly. I like Victor, but my opinion is shifting a bit. He seems a bit full of himself.

As far as I'm aware the Big Four are all available for the Sixers tonight. Let's go!
