State of the Titans entering Week 10 of the 2021/22 NFL Season

It is a fact, that if the Titans win out, they will be the Super Bowl Champs.

I just wish it were as simple as that statement. In a way it is, I guess. But pro football is pretty tough HA.

Right now, the Titans are in a pretty looking position. Leading their division, leading the AFC. The media is even showing a bit of love. The Titans earned some notoriety, they have gotten through the hardest part of their schedule (theoretically, on paper anyways), and just beat a top NFL team on National TV without their best player in Derrick Henry.

It's not going to be easy. Seven more games to play, and 7-2 looks good right now, but seven games is plenty of time for disaster to strike. Although in a way after losing Henry, a disaster did indeed strike already.

Anyway, the Titans need to get the offense moving, the defense has to stay playing elite ball as they did on Sunday Night.

The team has to play good, they gotta win. My analysis is legendary.

The perfect scenario for the Titans in the back half of the season, according to ME

The Titans want to get the #1 seed in the AFC, for obvious reasons. The top seed in each conference gets an initial bye week entering the playoffs.

The Titans though, the Titans could benefit sooooo much by getting this #1 seed.

The Titans have played nine weeks in a row, and they won't have their first bye week until Week 13, the week of December 5th. They have three more games until that bye. The team would obviously benefit from rest. They can heal up a bit and perhaps some players can return from injury.

This late bye week could possibly be a blessing in disguise if the Titans can snag that #1 seed.

SUPER BOWL - 2/13/22vs Titans Victim #3

The Titans could have two bye weeks in the final stretch of the year going into the post-season. One in Week 13, and one at Wild Card Weekend.

Once again, for obvious reasons, these bye weeks can be critically important for the Titans. AND the Titans could get Derrick Henry back at some point during this final stretch. Henry is 10 days past his foot injury, about nine days past his surgery. The hopeful timetable for Henry is 6-10 weeks. Like I said, hopeful.

If Derrick Henry does heal in that time frame, 6-10 weeks lands between Dec. 12 - Jan. 12..... It's entirely possible, if all goes PERFECT Henry could be back right in time for a playoff run!!

It will take a BIG effort for the Titans to make this scenario happen. But it's totally possible.

For now though, this is all what ifs and day dreaming, but I believe it can happen! There are some respectable teams left on the Titans schedule, and the Titans still don't have Derrick Henry, but I BELIEVE!!!
