Thanks for the memories A.J.!! - Titans Trade Star WR A.J. Brown to the Eagles for picks #18 and #101 in the NFL Draft

Well, my goodness!!! One of my favorite Titans EVER, A.J. Brown, has been traded to one of the teams I've disliked my entire life, the Philadelphia Eagles. I was pretty shocked when I heard it, not going to lie. A.J. Brown is an absolutely FILTHY player, man. Deep passes, short routes, run after the catch, ridiculous strength and speed, the guy is legit.

It has been a super entertaining three years watching A.J. shred defenses in two-tone blue, and it's tough to see the guy go. I will definitely appreciate the memories. He won't be easy to replace.

It's moment's like these where I'm glad I'm a fan and not a GM. I don't think I could make the choice to trade A.J., but I reluctantly admit it might be the right choice for the franchise overall. A.J. is such a talent, and the WR market is so expensive, especially in recent years, that it became pretty pricey to meet the demands that a contract like A.J.'s would require. Also, there is a bit of an injury history with A.J. as it is to be quite honest. Not insane, but enough to definitely take it into account.

I read somewhere that the Titans were offering A.J. 20 million dollars, while the Eagles were prepared to give him 25 million. But who knows, those details could easily be fake news, just something I read. In the end, A.J. is now an Eagle and has signed a four year contract extension worth up to 100 million dollars, 57 million of that is guaranteed.

This was simply, overall, a business move.

It's beautifully sad. Bittersweet. A.J. was drafted by the Titans in 2019 and was instantly a BEAST and he quickly became a star. He only spent three years in Nashville. It's like you blink and he's gone, sort of. A.J. is going to have a wonderful career, and it's really just cool to know his story started out as a Titan. Many of his greatest highlights and moments will be as a Titan. Classic, prime A.J. will likely be remembered in two-tone blue. I mean, how could it not? He may have statistically better seasons in the future, but those Titans days will always be there.

I actually have an A.J. card coming in the mail, among others. Glad I have one coming as they will be more rare now!

Man this man has had himself a HELL of a career so far. Take care of him, Eagles fans!
