The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 15 + 🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
November 22nd, 2024 - Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets
Ah yes, this was an absolutely forgettable game for the Machine from a statistical perspective. He needs to get in the lab and improve BIG TIME. But luckily they got the job done as a team and dominated the Nets in every perspective. The team is getting hot as they approach Thanksgiving.
🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
In the real world, like Myles Turner recently when he joined the Bucks, another big man in Deandre Ayton signed with the Lakers the other day. It seems like the league is prioritizing big men slightly more than usual. For awhile smaller and quicker players seemed to be the way to go for a lot of teams but play styles seem to change, adapt, and sometimes even repeat! Any way to find a competitive advantage. I think Ayton fits well on the Lakers. I'm a bit unsure how much LeBron is committed to playing as he likely nears retirement but if he's locked in with Luka and Ayton, I think it could work really well.
In the NFL world, I noticed the Steelers made an interesting move trading safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 2027 fifth round pick to Miami for Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey, tight end Jonnu Smith and a seventh round pick in 2027! This feels like a pretty even trade honestly but I slightly favor the Steelers in this one. Hard to say what the Dolphins are thinking here. All the players involved are pretty much the same age. Ramsey and Fitzpatrick is generally a wash talent wise, and Jonnu Smith is like a top fifteen tight end in football so yeah, the Steelers should feel pretty good!
Football is almost here!
The sports world never sleeps, till next time!
