The Titans long season continues vs Browns today

Yeah well, the Titans got absolutely smoked last week by the Jaguars and well, that wasn't too fun whatsoever. I mean, there's just not much to say. The team just can't function on really any level. Frankly I'm just happy the score wasn't worse than it was. Really stinks losing to the Jags man.

Today the Titans will be in frigid Cleveland to face Myles Garrett and fellow rookie QB Shedeur Sanders. It's supposed to be like 34 degrees with a 27 degree wind chill along with some flurries so at least it might be fun to watch from that perspective even though both teams stink.

The Titans are pretty much locked into a top three draft spot again, so it would be nice to just see them get a victory for once. They're super thin at receiver, our running game is bad, and the defense is just average. So yeah. Special teams has been good. But yeah, I'm hoping that Cam shows progress. I think Cam has learned a lot and that there's levels to football. I think maybe going into the season he may have assumed that the pros would be similar to college. Next year the Titans will have better draft picks, and a lot of cap space as well. Hopefully they can put weapons around him. Ridley is injured, Lockett left so yeah. I am hoping he will enter the off-season motivated and that this front office can show signs of life.

It would be great to just see a miracle today.

5 more games. While the Titans stink, I'll miss it when the season is over. Here's a few old Madden games from ages ago LOL. Still have a fair amount of games to chuck up.

watching some of that Madden footage made me think I might enjoy playing a football game again.. I do recall though, that aside from playing on SNES and Genesis, that every football game I have tried to play has been a lot more complicated than I was willing to learn. The same was true with basketball and I only enjoyed playing either one of these games against human opponents. I get so impatient in both games that I just end up getting frustrated and quitting before the game is over. Plus I always hated playing defense in either of them because I can't figure out what the heck is going on. :)

Ah yeah, head to head matches are always the best. And yeah defense can be confusing and annoying but eventually when you get the hang of it, it can be fun. Oh yes losing in sports games can be super frustrating no doubt, but it makes the wins even sweeter too. A majority of years my Titans are not a very good team, and so playing with them and winning with a lower rated roster feels good. Although in the 'Ultimate Team' game mode that's not as relevant. This mode is where you can add all types of players throughout history to your custom roster and so it's pretty fun to see all the legends face off. You never know what players you'll see and it's a cool way to learn the history of the game.
