Elite Eight Recap: Final Four Teams Set for Indianapolis 2026 (English/Spanish)
The most intense weekend of the year gave us a stellar lineup; I really enjoyed it and plan to enjoy these games as they lead us toward the 2026 Final Four, which will be played at the majestic Lucas Oil Stadium in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Friday was the day for decisive victories. These were the results that determined the regional finals:
Michigan 90 - Alabama 77: The Wolverines demonstrated their offensive prowess in Chicago, dispatching Alabama with authority.
Tennessee 76 - Iowa State 62: Your Vols played a great defensive game, shutting down the Cyclones to advance to the Elite Eight.
Duke 80 - St. John’s 75: The Blue Devils struggled but showed their mettle in the final minutes.
UConn 67 - Michigan State 63: The Huskies won a trench war to keep the “Three-peat” dream alive.
Saturday, March 28: Elite Eight (First tickets to Indy)
Arizona 79 - Purdue 64: In San Jose, Arizona neutralized the giant Zach Edey and became the first No. 1 seed to qualify for the Final Four.
Illinois 71 - Iowa 59: Illinois imposed its physicality and earned the right to play almost like a home team in its neighboring state.
Sunday, March 29: Elite Eight (The Final Drama)
Michigan 95 - Tennessee 62: It was the end of the road for the Vols. Michigan came out like a steamroller in the second half and won by 33 points. The cold-blooded decision to bet on the favorite here paid off, even if it hurt to see Tennessee fall.
UConn 73 - Duke 72: THE MIRACLE! UConn was down by 19 points, but they rallied and won on that three-pointer by Braylon Mullins with 0.4 seconds left. That was the play that made more than a few people jump out of their seats.

It was a weekend full of thrills, especially on Sunday, when the two sides of the coin left us pondering the excitement and euphoria of victory and the bitterness of defeat. Basketball is an incredible game, and anything can happen, so the best is yet to come this weekend.

Crónica del Elite Eight: Definido los Equipos al Final Four con Destino a Indianápolis 2026
El fin de semana más intenso del año nos dejó un cuadro de lujo, la verdad disfruté mucho y planifique disfrutar de estos juegos que nos llevan rumbo el Final Four 2026 que se jugará en el majestuoso Lucas Oil Stadium, en el corazón de Indianápolis, Indiana.
El viernes fue el día de los golpes en la mesa. Estos fueron los resultados que definieron las finales regionales:
Michigan 90 - Alabama 77: Los Wolverines demostraron su poderío ofensivo en Chicago, sacando a Alabama con autoridad.
Tennessee 76 - Iowa State 62: Tus Vols dieron un partidazo defensivo, secando a los Cyclones para meterse en el Elite Eight.
Duke 80 - St. John’s 75: Los Blue Devils sufrieron pero sacaron la casta en los últimos minutos.
UConn 67 - Michigan State 63: Los Huskies ganaron una guerra de trincheras para mantener vivo el sueño del "Three-peat".
Sábado 28 de Marzo: Elite Eight (Primeros boletos a Indy)
Arizona 79 - Purdue 64: En San José, Arizona neutralizó al gigante Zach Edey y se convirtió en el primer sembrado #1 en clasificar al Final Four.
Illinois 71 - Iowa 59: Los de Illinois impusieron su ley física y se ganaron el derecho de jugar casi como locales en su estado vecino.
Domingo 29 de Marzo: Elite Eight (El drama final)
Michigan 95 - Tennessee 62: Fue el fin del camino para los Vols. Michigan salió como una aplanadora en la segunda mitad y ganó por 33 puntos. La sangre fría de apostar al favorito aquí pagó, aunque doliera ver caer a Tennessee.
UConn 73 - Duke 72: ¡EL MILAGRO! UConn perdía por 19 puntos, pero remontaron y ganaron con ese triple de Braylon Mullins faltando 0.4 segundos. Ese fue el ticket que hizo cobrar y saltar del asiento a más de uno.

Fue un fin de semana de muchas emociones sobre todo el domingo donde las 2 caras de la moneda no dejaron pensando sobre la emoción y la euforia de la victoria y lo amargo de la derrota, el baloncesto es un juego increíble y cualquier cosa puede pasar, así que se viene lo mejor para el fin de semana.
