"hoba miso" is a local dish of Gifu prefecture in Japan.

I went mountain climbing on December 4, 2022 and bought "hoba miso" that was sold at the product shop where I got off the mountain.
The "hoba miso" I bought was a set of miso seasoned with sugar, mirin, Japanese pepper, etc. and dried "hoba".
"Hoba" is dry and crispy, so before using it, moisten it with water to soften it.

"朴葉みそ"は、日本の岐阜県の郷土料理です。

私は2022年12月4日に山登りに行きまして
下山したところにあった物産館で売られていた"朴葉みそ"を購入しました。
私が購入した"朴葉みそ"は、砂糖、みりん、山椒などで調味された味噌と
乾燥させた"朴葉"がセットで販売されていました。
"朴葉"はパリパリに乾燥しているので、使う前に水で濡らしてやわらかくします。

When yakiniku is grilled with "hoba miso", it is generally grilled over a charcoal grill.
Spread aluminum foil on the grill net and put "Hoba" on it.
Miso is spread over it, and meat and mushrooms are grilled.

This time, I used a multi-griddle that has been very popular recently as a camping cooker.
This is an aluminum griddle, light and easy to handle.
At the camp the other day, I baked tortillas with this.

Cook using a separate single burner.
The usage position is devised so that the gas cartridge is not heated.

"朴葉みそ"で焼肉をする場合、大体は網を使った炭火焼きで行います。
網焼きの網にアルミホイルを敷いて、その上に"朴葉"を載せます。
そこに味噌を敷き詰めて、肉を焼いたりきのこを焼いたりします。

今回は、キャンプのクッカーとして最近大人気のマルチグリドルを使いました。
これはアルミ製のグリドルで、軽くて取り扱いが容易です。
先日のキャンプでは、これでトルティーヤを焼きました。

ガスカートリッジが加熱されない様、使用位置は工夫しています。

でも、きちんと肉が焼ける様に、火力を調節します。

通常の焼肉屋バーベキューよりも時間がかかりますが、味噌の旨味が素晴らしいです。
味付けをしながら焼き上がります。
刻みネギを一緒に焼いて、肉につけて食べることもできます。

Then put the rice in there.
Miso-flavored rice is very delicious even if you eat it as it is.
It seems to be delicious even if you serve it in a bowl and pour warm tea or dashi soup over it.

I was actually thinking of eating this at camp.

焼肉を食べ終わったら、残った味噌で「ネギ味噌」をつくります。
そして、そこにご飯を入れます。
味噌味のご飯はそのまま食べてもとても美味しいですが
お椀に盛り付けて、上から暖かいお茶やお出汁をかけて食べても美味しいそうです。

本当はこれはキャンプで食べようと思っていました。
けれど、こうして自宅でリハーサルをやってみて色々な改善点が見つかりました。
また春になったらキャンプ場でやりたいと思います。
