Embracing an Active Weekend Lifestyle: Energizing Body and Mind!

In the hustle and bustle of modern life, weekends often become synonymous with relaxation and downtime. As someone with a demanding desk job that keeps me confined indoors for long hours, I often find myself craving movement and fresh air by the time Friday rolls around. The prolonged periods of inactivity during the workweek can leave me feeling lethargic and mentally drained. Among my favorite weekend activities are running, playing racket sports like Pickleball or Badminton, and organizing Basketball pick-up games with friends. These activities not only provide a physical workout but also offer opportunities for social interaction and connection. Whether it's sharing a laugh with friends on the basketball court or enjoying the serene beauty of nature during a morning run, these experiences enrich my weekends in ways that sedentary pastimes cannot match.

Of course, finding the motivation to stay active on weekends isn't always easy, especially after a long week of work. However, I've found that once I lace up my running shoes or grab my racket, the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from being active far outweighs any initial reluctance. Plus, the endorphin rush and sense of camaraderie that accompany group activities make the effort well worth it.

Physical exercise is good and if you can do it every afternoon after work, so much the better. Coming home and doing sit-ups and some planks etc would be great. I am already retired but physical exercise has helped me a lot in my health and recommended by the doctor.
