Análisis en modo Clásico Mundial: Parte I (ESP/ENG)
La sexta edición del mayor evento beisbolero a nivel mundial está a la vuelta de la esquina, concretamente el miércoles 4 de marzo con el partido inaugural entre las novenas de China Taipei, actual campeón del Premier 12 y la siempre competitiva Australia en el Tokio Dome, de la capital japonesa del mismo nombre
A partir de hoy nos estaremos adentrando en los rivales de nuestra selección nacional con los análisis correspondientes de uno de los grupos más parejos que tiene este Clásico Mundial de Béisbol y que representa para Cuba el seguir avanzando a segunda ronda como lo ha hecho en todas las ediciones anteriores. Hoy en la primera entrega de este análisis le tocará el turno a Panamá, coincidentemente la primera selección que enfrentó la Mayor de las Antillas en la historia de los Clásicos Mundiales, por allá en el lejano 2006
Frente a frente en los Clásicos
Como ya les decía, la selección canalera fue la primera selección que enfrentó Cuba en la historia de estos eventos, precisamente en el Hiram Bithorn de San Juan, Puerto Rico un 8 de marzo de 2006 en la recordada primera edición del evento más importante de las bolas y los strikes. Ese encuentro culminó a favor de los nuestros ocho carreras por seis y tuvo la polémica de que hubiera pasado si Edgardo Rivera hubiera cogido aquella bola que le encimó el pinareño Yuniesky Maya en el final del noveno episodio con el juego empatado a seis carreras y con los ángulos congestionados. Después de eso, el resto fue historia en ese encuentro y en esa edición en particular, al llegar a la final ante la selección nipona. La segunda ocasión y última que estás dos potencias caribeñas se enfrentaron tuvo lugar en el último Clásico Mundial con victoria otra vez de la selección cubana ante los dirigidos por José Mayorga, quien volverá a repetir como timonel canalero. Ese partido en cuestión, celebrado en el Intercontinental Stadium, de la ciudad taipeiana de Taichung culminó con holgado marcador de trece anotaciones por cuatro a favor de las huestes cubanas con destaque en ese choque para el matancero Yadir Drake, quien se fue en tarde perfecta al compilar de 5-5

La posible alineacion canalera presenta una novena con varios Grandes Ligas como son los casos de los infielders Edmundo Sosa y José Caballero y los receptores, Miguel Amaya y Christian Betancourt, ambos de los Cachorros de Chicago en la Gran Carpa, además de una combinación muy rápida en las bases con Enrique Bradfield Jr, el veterano Johan Camargo y el right field José Ramos, quienes apostarán por probar a los catchers rivales
Lanzador Abridor
A sabiendas de que la selección cubana no le batea a los pitchers de la mal llamada mano equivocada, el manager canalero apostará en este primer choque por el mejor lanzador de todo el roster panameño y uno de los pocos con recorrido en Grandes Ligas, hablamos del zurdo Logan Allen. Este zurdo, de 27 años de edad y con tres temporadas en la Gran Carpa obtuvo en su última temporada un récord negativo de ocho ganados y once descalabros con un promedio de limpias un poco alto de 4.25 con 122 ponches y 62 boletos en 156 y dos tercios de labor para los Guardianes de Cleveland. Este zurdo nacido en Estados Unidos y de madre panameña tiene en su arsenal hasta cinco lanzamientos: Recta, Cutter o recta cortada, Sweeper, Sinker y Cambio de velocidad. Su recta este año promedio entre las 90-92 millas con una máxima de 94 millas por hora con una taza de rollings del 45.6%, por lo que se le dificulta mucho levantarle la bola. ¿Será a la tercera la vencida para Panamá o Cuba seguirá imponiendo su clase ante los istmeños?

Analysis in World Classic mode: Part I
The sixth edition of the largest baseball event in the world is just around the corner, specifically on Wednesday, March 4, with the opening match between the teams of Chinese Taipei, current champion of the Premier 12, and the always competitive Australia in the Tokyo Dome, in the Japanese capital of the same name.
Starting today we will be delving into the rivals of our national team with the corresponding analyzes of one of the most even groups that this World Baseball Classic has and which represents for Cuba to continue advancing to the second round as it has done in all previous editions. Today in the first installment of this analysis it will be Panama's turn, coincidentally the first team that the Greater Antilles faced in the history of the World Classics, way back in 2006.
Face to face in the Classics
As I already told you, the Canalera team was the first team that Cuba faced in the history of these events, precisely at the Hiram Bithorn in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 8, 2006 in the remembered first edition of the most important event of balls and strikes. That match ended in our favor eight runs to six and had the controversy of what would have happened if Edgardo Rivera had caught that ball that Yuniesky Maya from Pinar del Río hit him at the end of the ninth inning with the game tied at six runs and with the corners congested. After that, the rest was history in that match and in that particular edition, reaching the final against the Japanese team.
