Leones muerden primero en la fiesta de los playoffs (esp/eng)
Por fin hoy comenzó la etapa más decisiva y emocionante de un Campeonato como lo es la postemporada en dónde los dirigidos por Guillermo Carmona estarán en busca de la tan ansiada corona número 13. Siempre se dicen que los playoffs son borrón y cuenta nueva y que los partidos no parecen en nada a la etapa regular y se comprobó perfectamente en el estadio Nelson Fernández en dónde los Azules vinieron de abajo sensacionalmente en la novena entrada para salir delante en la serie
Fue un duelo de pitcheo sobretodo los abridores de ambos conjuntos, Raymond Figueredo por los Azules y Yadian Martinez por Mayabeque. Comenzaron los capitalinos mostrando su batería pero sin mucha oportunidad, muchos corredores dejados en base y con un Figueredo en modo bestia sin permitirle libertades a los mayabequenses hasta que en el sexto episodio Xian Vega le casó una bola alta y la despachó por el Left Field para poner delante a su equipo con el primer hit de la tarde. Los dirigidos por Guillermo Carmona ripostaron con kilométrico cuadrangular de Yasiel Santoya en el séptimo episodio para empatar las acciones. En ese mismo capítulo la tropa local volvió a ponerse por delante tras un hit de Vega quien trajó a Yoasan Guillén desde la intermedia
Siempre se dice que las mejores decisiones en los playoffs son en los últimos capitulos del choque y en este no fue la excepción cuando el juego se puso caliente para los Azules en el final del octavo episodio, Rafael Orlando Perdomo, a la postre ganador del choque hizo un relevo de leyenda al dominar ponchando a Frank Alonso y dominando en inofensivo fly al derecho a Yoasan Guillén con las almohadillas congestionadas. Ese empuje fue el que a la postre ayudó a los habaneros cuando en el noveno episodio cuando el partido ya estaba en los bolsillos de los mayabequenses, el indomable Yosvani Peñalver conectó imparable al jardín izquierdo y combinado con un error de Dennis Laza limpió las bases y puso en jaque mate a los Huracanes, quienes a pesar de amenazar en el final del noveno capitulo no pudieron llevarse el triunfo
En la jornada de hoy seguirá esta serie en el Nelson Fernández de San José de Las Lajas con Reemberto Barreto y José Ignacio Bermúdez tirando las serpentinas por ambos conjuntos. ¿Logrará Mayabeque empatar las acciones o los Azules se irán a su patio con ventaja de dos victorias?

Lions bite first in the playoffs party
Finally today began the most decisive and exciting stage of a Championship such as the postseason where those led by Guillermo Carmona will be in search of the long-awaited crown number 13. They always say that the playoffs are a clean slate and that the games do not look anything like the regular stage and it was perfectly confirmed at the Nelson Fernández stadium where the Blues sensationally came from behind in the ninth inning to come out ahead in the series
It was a pitching duel especially between the starters of both teams, Raymond Figueredo for the Blues and Yadian Martinez for Mayabeque. The people of the capital began showing their battery but without much opportunity, many runners left on base and with Figueredo in beast mode without allowing liberties to the Mayabequenses until in the sixth inning Xian Vega hit a high ball and sent it through the Left Field to put his team ahead with the first hit of the afternoon. Those led by Guillermo Carmona responded with a kilometric home run by Yasiel Santoya in the seventh episode to tie the actions. In that same chapter the local troop took the lead again after a hit from Vega who brought Yoasan Guillén from the Intermediate
It is always said that the best decisions in the playoffs are in the last chapters of the match and this was no exception when the game got hot for the Blues at the end of the eighth inning, Rafael Orlando Perdomo, the eventual winner of the match, made a legendary relief by dominating by striking out Frank Alonso and dominating a harmless fly ball to the right to Yoasan Guillén with congested pads. That push was what ultimately helped the Havana team when in the ninth inning, when the game was already in the pockets of the Mayabequenses, the indomitable Yosvani Peñalver hit a hit to left field and combined with an error by Dennis Laza, he cleared the bases and put the Hurricanes in checkmate, who despite threatening at the end of the ninth inning could not take the win.
Today this series will continue at the Nelson Fernández in San José de Las Lajas with Reemberto Barreto and José Ignacio Bermúdez throwing the streamers for both teams. Will Mayabeque manage to tie the action or will the Blues go home with a two-win advantage?
