El Barça vuelve a coronarse supercampeón de España tras vencer en la final de la Supercopa a su acérrimo rival tres goles a dos en Arabia Saudita, concretamente en el Alinma Stadium de Yeda. Para el conjunto dirigido por Flick significa el cuarto título doméstico consecutivo, algo que nadie lo ha logrado en el fútbol español, el primer trofeo del año y la tercera victoria consecutiva ante el Real Madrid en finales
El encuentro comenzó con poca presión de ambos conjuntos, haciéndose notar la presión del encuentro, sobretodo en el banquillo merengue dirigido por Xabi Alonso y poco a poco el Barcelona, gran dominador de la primera mitad comenzó con su fiel estilo de juego: control de la posesión aunque en esta ocasión un poco estéril y en el otro bando recurriendo a balonazos largos buscando las espaldas de los defensores con jugadores como Rodrygo y Vinicius Junior, quien tuvo la primera clara del partido gracias a su gran velocidad pero no pudo batir a un gran Joan García
Después de la pausa de hidratación comenzó a escalar la verdadera tensión que generan los clásicos, al minuto 36, Raphinha adelantó a los azulgranas con un potente disparo cruzado a pase de Fermín, minutos después comenzó la verdadera emoción cuando en el añadido Vini empató las acciones con un jugadón de leyenda superando a Kounde a placer con caño incluído, automáticamente Robert Lewandowski pusó el 2-1 con una vaselina con el exterior del pie que venció al muro belga, Thibaut Courtois y cuando pensamos en irnos así al descanso llegó el empate merengue en una jugada rocambolesca desde el banderín de corner en dónde Gonzalo García fue más listo que todos y empujó el balón que entró besando la red
Después del dos a dos en el descanso, el Madrid salió como un bólido a presionar durante los primeros días minutos para tratar de poner la balanza a su favor sabiendo que no tienen recambios en el banquillo a no ser el francés Kylian Mbappé. Conforme fueron pasando los minutos el Barcelona de fue encontrando mejor en la cancha, y con la entrada de Ferrán y Dani Olmo se reoxigenó y fue a buscar el partido hasta que logró el tan ansiado premio al minuto 73 Raphinha convirtió el doblete en su cuenta personal tras una gran jugada en equipo entre los dos anteriormente ingresados al terreno de juego por el conjunto culé para así decretar el marcador final del choque, no sin antes de acabar el partido salir expulsado el neerlandés Frenkie de Jong en una dura entrada hacia Mbappé
Con esta victoria Flick conserva récord perfecto en finales con ocho triunfos en igual cantidad de salidas en las que destacan: 4 Supercopas (2 España, 1 Alemania y Europa), 2 Copas nacionales (Alemania y España), una Champions League y una Copa Intercontinental, además de darle su título 16 al Barcelona en estás lides ampliando la distancia de tres con el Real Madrid

Super champions
Barça is once again crowned Spanish super champion after beating its staunch rival three goals to two in the Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia, specifically at the Alinma Stadium in Jeddah. For the team led by Flick it means the fourth consecutive domestic title, something that no one has achieved in Spanish football, the first trophy of the year and the third consecutive victory against Real Madrid in finals.
