Chilly Autumn Walk to Allerton’s Salon

Description from Strava: During the most intense weeks of my injury recovery, going to the salon was completely out of the question.

But as soon as I could leave the house, it was clear that my glamour had faded. In Nashua, I did not have access to the talented resources that I enjoy so much in Leeds. There is a higher level of service in Yorkshire.

Today, I was able to see my favourite nail artist, Victoria, who is also a soprano, she recently shared with me.

This was the first time I had seen her since before my accident, so getting her filled in on the surgeries and my recovery while she is working on my hands was quite the juxtaposition of how things that seem like they’ll never get better, actually do.
