Soccer: My favorite sport [ESP/ENG]

Hola amigos de Hive, y un especial saludo a aquellos que les encanta el deporte como a mí. Para empezar debo decir que amo el fútbol, amo el balonpié. Obviamente en el mundo el fútbol es el deporte rey, y lógicamente tiene todo el sentido ya que reúne a deportista de alta gama y de diversas nacionalidades para jugar en equipo y tener como meta última, meterle más goles al equipo contrario.

Explicando un poquito lo que es el soccer, es un deporte de equipo que se juega con los pies, donde dos equipos de once jugadores intentan llevar un balón a la portería contraria. Se juega en un campo rectangular con porterías en cada extremo. El objetivo principal es marcar más goles que el equipo contrario dentro del tiempo reglamentario. ¿Por qué es tan importante en nuestra región? El soccer ocupa un lugar central en nuestra cultura latinoamericana por varias razones: Identidad nacional y regional.

Para mi, ha sido natural respirar fútbol desde que soy pequeño, y lo juego con mucha frecuencia pero desde que soy padre ya no lo hago tanto porque me enfoco en trabajar, aunque cuando quiero hacer deporte lo primero que pienso en ir a jugar soccer.

Pero en general el fútbol es mucho más que un deporte en Latinoamérica; es una parte de su identidad, un fenómeno social y cultural que une a las personas, genera pasión y orgullo, y refleja la rica diversidad de la región.

Me acuerdo una vez que estaba jugando con la compañía de mi hija e @ivanetta23 y estaba jugando horrible, pero el solo ver a mi hija que estaba pequeña en ese entonces, que me estaba haciendo barra apoyandome, me hizo querer moverme mejor y hacer mejores pases.

Quise en algún momento enseñarle a mi hija a cómo jugar fútbol pero aún esta muy pequeña. La que se pone muy obsesionada con que yo le transmita mis saberes a @cami-bianco23 es su mamá que por alguna extraña razón todavía sigue creyendo en nuestro proyecto de familia. Y bueno, yo solo quiero hacerlo mejor por mi hija.

Siguiendo hablando de mi deporte favorito, qué decepción que Venezuela no haya quedado clasificada para el mundial que viene, de verdad el último partido que disputó para dicho fin me dejó con ganas de que cayera un rayo, pero eso no pasó y nosotros no clasificamos. Pero los jugadores lo dieron todo en el campo. Quisiera yo poder ir a un partido de la Vinotinto contra Argentina o contra Colombia para recordarlo por siempre.

Para mi el fútbol es mi pasión más grande y quiero jugarlo tantas veces como pueda. Y quién sabe, tal vez a mi hija le termine gustando también.

Hello friends of Hive, and a special greeting to those who love sports as I do. To begin with, I must say that I love soccer, I love soccer. Obviously, in the world, soccer is the king sport, and logically it makes all the sense since it brings together high-end athletes of different nationalities to play as a team and have as their ultimate goal to score more goals than the opposing team.

Explaining a little bit what soccer is, it is a team sport played with the feet, where two teams of eleven players try to take a ball to the opponent's goal. It is played on a rectangular field with goals at each end. The main objective is to score more goals than the opposing team within the regulation time. Why is it so important in our region? Soccer occupies a central place in our Latin American culture for several reasons: National and regional identity.

For me, it has been natural to breathe soccer since I was a child, and I play it very often, but since I became a father I don't do it as much because I focus on work, although when I want to play sports the first thing I think of is going to play soccer.

But in general, soccer is much more than a sport in Latin America; it is a part of its identity, a social and cultural phenomenon that unites people, generates passion and pride, and reflects the rich diversity of the region.

I remember one time I was playing with my daughter's company and @ivanetta23 and I was playing horribly, but just seeing my daughter, who was little at the time, who was doing slash supporting me, made me want to move better and make better passes.

I wanted, at some point, to teach my daughter how to play soccer, but she is still very young. The one who gets very obsessed with me passing on my knowledge to @cami-bianco23 is her mom, who, for some strange reason, still believes in our family project. And well, I just want to do better for my daughter.

Continuing talking about my favorite sport, what a disappointment that Venezuela did not qualify for the next World Cup, really, the last game they played for that purpose left me wanting lightning to strike, but that did not happen, and we did not qualify. But the players gave their all on the field. I wish I could go to a Vinotinto game against Argentina or Colombia to remember it forever.

For me, soccer is my greatest passion, and I want to play it as often as I can. And who knows, maybe my daughter will like it too.
