48km cycling trip - k activity - My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2023
Hello and welcome to yesterday's #actifit activity report¹
My plan was to cycle to the Ben Shemen forest, but instead I decided to check out two routes that lead to the forest. Next time I will cycle to the forest I will use the best route. The new route passes through the city of Rishon Lezion and I like it better than my old route. It looks to be safer to cycle.
I cycled near the Ben Gurion airport and this time I was lucky to witness and photograph a plane taking off.
On my way I passed the town of Or Yehuda. On a square near the town's exit I found an interesting public art sculpture of "paper" airplanes.
I cycled near a beautiful wheat field and took some photos of a fresh greenery.

The sculpture is quiet unique. It is about 10m tall and constructed in such a way that it greets the people driving into town.
My guess is that a plains theme comes from a towns proximity to Ben Gurion airport - largest in Israel.
