10000km mileage celebration and giveaway - 36k activity - My Actifit Report Card: March 16 2023

Hello and welcome to today's #actifit activity report¹

Today I cycled the distance of 65km, an improvement of 18km over my last trip. I reached the city of Raanana, the most northern city in the Gush Dan area.

I want to celebrate my bicycle reaching a 10000km mileage 🎉

My bicycle is Haro Beasly 2020, I bought it new and heavily modified it to suit my needs.

I have attached an aluminium rack and several bags to carry spare tubes, first aid kit, airpump, tools, water bottles and other stuff. All necessary equipment for a long ride.

I am using the butterfly handlebar as a shock dampener and it offers a lot of hand positions. The lower position with black grips mimics the "on the drops" position of a road bicycle.

My gear setup is 1x8. The front chainring is 38t and the cassette is an 8 speed 11t-42t. This gives me a wide range of gears that is suitable for any terrain and slope.

A very useful handlebar tips allow for a comfortable neutral hand position.

The tires are Schwalbe Hurricane that cover all types of terrain. They are extremely comfortable with a 57mm width.
