That empty-stomach vs full-stomach split is pure gold. The numbers don’t lie, your power went up on an empty stomach, but the pace felt heavier. Still, I’d never guess eating a full meal slows you down until I saw it myself. Now I’m curious, what’s the usual culprit when your heart rate’s off? The route or your gut?
