My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2024 on
This morning, I awoke and let Hawthorne out, then I had a cup of tea and got to work. After a little while, I took a break to run the trash cans up to the road and eat breakfast.
After breakfast, I played with Hawthorne a little and went back to writing a chapter in my forthcoming book.
Near the end of the morning,.I heard my dad outside beating on his tractor. My mom asked him what he was doing. "I got some barbed wire caught in the blade," he said. He was talking about the blade of his brush hog. He asked my mom to call my nephew to come down and help, so I went out and helped. We spent about an hour getting the barbed wire out of his brush hog blade.
My wife made us lunch while I went up to the road to retrieve the trash cans. Then we ate lunch.
After lunch, I went outside with Hawthorne to watch the solar eclipse with my mom, my great nephews, and their mother.
Once that was over, my wife, Hawthorne, and I went into town to run some errands. We started with a trip to the Laundromat. Then we went to Tractor Supply to buy chicken feed. We stopped at the post office then headed to the grocery store, and filled up a water bottle for my mom.
Upon arriving at home, I carried mom's water bottles in for her and took the chicken feed to the barn. Then I took the groceries and the laundry in the house.
I played with Hawthorne a little then ate dinner. After dinner, I walked up the lane and closed the gate to our property. I ended the day with more than 7,000 activity points.

Nice you got to see the eclipse. Where we are, it was cloudy and we are way too far away to have seen much of anything anyway.

It was cloudy here too, but we got to see the eclipse between the clouds. It was cooler than I thought it would be.
