Bye Bye AFF U-23
This is very bad news from Indonesian National Soccer Team. After their failure in bringing home the AFF Suzuki Cup, they will definitely have to let go of the AFF U-23 Cup which was won in the previous tournament.
The Association and the coach Shin Tae Yong decided to cancel Indonesian involvement in the tournament because of health problems.
7 players in the team are tested positive for Covid and also one from the official. That means that the association needs to quarantine the other player who has been in contact or stay in the same room with the positive one. Also, there are some players that can't be played because of injury forcing the painful decision.
Now they will focus on the health of the players, and treating the injured ones. We might not be able to retain the cup for now, but for sure there will be another chance to fight for it.
