My Actifit Report Card: May 27 2022

Another beautiful sunny day with just a few clouds to break up the blue sky. It was also another very good day for me as I managed a 16km walk after I got home from work this morning.

I first went down to and through Chewton Keynsham where I took my cover picture. From there I went up a very steep hill called Redlynch Lane and then along a narrow track to the high point of my walk.

Along the track I spent some time trying to take pictures of various insects with various levels of success. These are my best efforts out of many many pictures taken.

From there I went down Slate Lane to Compton Dando where the verge was filled with these Lovely Daisies.

From there I went along to Burnett where I came across this Grey Wagtail hanging about on the overhead cables.

I was starting to worry about how long the walk was taking at this point and concerned about getting home in time to eat before going back to work. I upped my pace a bit and didn't stop to take any more pictures and in fact ended up getting back in plenty of time.

I was feeling quite tired after second shift at work but as its Friday a couple of beers beckoned at the local pub. That was then followed by a short walk to the chip shop before heading home.
