My Actifit Report Card: March 19 2023
Sunday was Mother's Day in England, and my older son arrived early in the morning to spend the day with us. Luckily, he is a keen runner, so we all went out for a 13km run shortly after he arrived from Cardiff.
It was a beautiful spring morning, and we did the route that goes through Saltford, Burnett, Compton Dando, and Chewton Keynsham. Unfortunately, when we were about 3km from home, my water bladder burst in my backpack. It may have been a lovely day, but it wasn't pleasant having a litre of water suddenly pouring down my back.
Once back home, we were soon joined by my youngest son and his girlfriend. I did point out a couple of times that it was Mother's Day, but the boys didn't take the hint, and I still ended up cooking the Sunday roast for everyone.
