HANDBALL GAME.

Handball is a game that takes it origin from soccer or football as it is popularly known. Handball was believed to have originated in Germany in the 19th century by Professor Karl Schelenz who happened to be a Physical Education teacher in Berlin,Germany.

Handball just like most of the other contact sports are team sport, this simply means that it is played by two teams of 7 players each on both side.

Although 12 players are to be registered by each team while 7 players will be on the field or court as the case may be, the remaining players are referred to as substitutes.

The game is started by a centre pass from the centre pass from the centre of the court. The aim of the game is to throw the ball into the goal post and sail into the net.
