This will be a cagey one the home team seem to do well. If the Slovakia club is going to take a win from this game, they will have to do something exceptional against Irish Club
Huh.... the match went the other way round as it ended 2-1 in favor of Shamrock Rovers but Slovan still qualify to the next stage because they have already won 2-0 in their first leg.
Nice prediction. i would have predicted the same thing because i expect Slovan to repeat the same thing
After some minutes into the game, I knew we would be seeing a different result as shanrock was here on mission to revenge the first leg. They did with the win tonight but it was not enough to take them into the next stage

A sport I haven't seen here in a while: rugby. France and Australia are playing a series of 3 test matches. Last Wednesday, Australia barely won the first one after a big mistake by the French at the end of the match. But today, France won 28-26, with a late penalty. It's their first win in Australia since 1990! I know this is only a test match, but that's a great performance nonetheless. Final match this Saturday. Too early for me to watch unfortunately (and I don't really know where I could find it anyways)

I like the French team, but I am not sure they'll be able to repeat such performance in the last match
Used to love seeing those runs and brawls in the game but unfortunately don't quite understand how points are counted and many other things. Seems I will have to study this sport. It seems quite popular in Europe
When I watch it on TV in the States, they actually do a decent job trying to explain some of what's happening, penalties in particular. Of course, growing up in Europe, I did know most of the basics.
Oh. Good one you get wiyh the commentary and all on TV. Over here in this side of the world, not much is talked about rugby. Only very Few people know what the sport entails.
Just watching on the TV may be through sports news or some movie shows it' shows people really love it. Seems some high school students prefer it to soccer.
We still don't get many rugby games on TV in the US, but at least on the channels I have, we got the Six Nations tournament, the biggest one in Europe, and of course the World Cup. An if I really want to see other games, I can stream from French channels.
Great. Our local stations don't even air them at all. They even have a world cup of their of own, how cool it must be. Happen to also get to see some through subscription on satellite TV or streaming sites.

very interesting game but anyone who must be thinking of playing that game must be thinking of how to gym and build his body very well. i am yet to watch women playing ruby? Does women play this game as well?
I admit I never watched an entire women rugby game, just some highlights, but it does exist. The women World Cup was supposed to take place this year in New Zealand but was postponed till 2022 because of pandemic. Just like men rugby, New Zealand is one of the best nations in women rugby.
wow... i will like to watch their ruby but i am not sure it will be as difficult as that of men that need to carry wait before going into the sport
I don't know much about rubgy but I tend to treat it more like American football. I know there are differences but I don't bother as much
There are similarities for sure. But one thing I really prefer in rugby is the fact they don't stop the play every few seconds like in American football.

Now there's a fun game. I knew nothing about rugby when I loved in the States, but it is fairly popular with many people in Japan. There is a small camp for it near my house so I can watch little kids training every year.

Decent prediction. The Croatian club Zagreb seem to be the more better team on this. Also expect them to confornably see this one out

Zalgris Vilinius are good team to this nothern island team and we actually see that in the result as Zagris finally won the match despite having 2 red cards.

yes. definitely that is the disadvantage of red card it can destabilize a team formation. they will have to use a deferent players for the 2 roles in which their team collect red card

Nice coming to the world of basketball. This will be a really exciting one. Expect Giannis Antetokounmpo and then boys to over run the phoenix on this one tonight
Game 4 will be tomorrow though. I am really not sure on this one. Bucks won easily Game 3 but Paul and Booker didn't play well. If they play again like the first 2 games, Suns will win again.
They sure wouldn't be having it easy on Thursday with the return of Chris Paul and Devin brooker for the suns but will still be expecting the bucks to dig out the necessary result.
I would probably say the Bucks would win. Since my favorites are out, I haven't been keeping up. What game of the finals are they on?
It will be Game 4 tomorrow night. Suns won the first 2, and the Bucks won the third pretty easily with another really big game from Giannis Antetokounmpo

Well, it wasn't that easy. Booker had a huge game, and until the last minutes, Suns were ahead. But finally Bucks turned it around and won it. Now it's back to Phoenix. Till now, the home team always won. So let's see if it stays this way.

I forgot my update on Tour de France. After a rest day yesterday, it was still in the Pyrenees region today with a few decent climbs on the way. The Austrian Patrick Konrad wins the stage, but no significant change in the general classification, Pogacar still in the lead. Tomorrow with a difficult mountain stage still in the Pyrenees, Pogacar might get attacked. We'll see if he and his teammates can control the race as well as they have till now.
How about that Ohtani, eh? He had a great performance in the All-Star game!!

Sumo update: In the Nagoya tournament, day 10, Hakuho continues to cruse through undefeated so far, Can he get another win? If he does, it will be a record 45 tournament wins. He continues to be the single more dominate sumo wrestler ever. If his knee doesn't act up, I expect him to win easily. But then again, in sumo, anything can happen and upsets are common.
I'll use yesterday thread since I did not see one for today. In Tour de France today, Pogacar showed once again he was the best currently. He won the stage and increased his lead on several of his rivals in the general classification.
Tomorrow is the last mountain stage with 3 climbs including the finish at the top of a difficult and steep peak. It's the last chance for his opponents to reduce the gap with Pogacar but I doubt it will happen. He just seems too strong right now. We will see...
