Good evening to everyone , I haven't been posting on SportsTalkSocial recently much but with so much going on over here I want to resume it again .

This week has been a blast for any cricket fan who is following the India vs England T20 series .

Totally the T20 series has 5 matches in which the winning was in this order -

1st match - England won
2nd match - India won
3rd match - England won
4th match - India won
5th match - India won .

India broke the pattern of 1-2-1-2 and took home the victory on the final match .

I always post about data and statistics if you have followed me . I love it and today let's see the final match using some charts .

Kohli leading from the front

To be honest till the 3rd match of the series I was disappointed in Kohli's performance as he didn't even score a half century and he just didn't play well at all in the Test series . He was lucky other batsmen scored well and led India to the victory .

But in the last match , Kohli played really well along with Rohit Sharma and he was the leading run scorer from Indian side .

Just with the loss of 2 wickets India posted 224 runs on the board and none of the batsmen failed to perform .

Here are the strike rates -

I am impressed with this because none of the batsmen had a strike rate below 150 . Hardik Pandya too after so many failures scored well in yesterday's match .

England bowlers failing to pick up wickets

England bowlers just couldn't perform well . None of them were able to pick wickets and 4 out of 6 bowlers failed to pick any wickets .

This made it difficult for the England batsmen to chase because 224 runs in a do or die match is never easy .

If you take a look at the economy of England bowlers -

Every single one of them except Rashid had an economy of over 8 runs per over . This is where England lost as none of them were able to control the Indian batsmen .

England good start , poor finish .

This applies to both series as well as the last match . They started the series well by winning the first match but eventually lost the series by losing both of the last 2 matches consecutively .

Yesterday's match too - they did well in the beginning of second innings but they weren't able to keep up the momentum and maintain it .

No batsmen other than Malan and Buttler played well . It was terrible performance by Roy and other main players .
