Saludos a todos los compañeros de la comunidad @fulldeportes y a los amantes del béisbol venezolano. Por aquí nuevamente con otro de esos posts llenos de esperanza e incertidumbre, debido a la situación actual de Magallanes.
Después de una temporada regular donde Magallanes logró completar un objetivo que a mediados de campaña se veía bastante lejos, como lo fue clasificar al Round Robin de una forma espectacular, demostrando que son un equipo aguerrido, capaz de emerger de las profundidades y dejar claro quién es el dueño del mar, Magallanes se encuentra ahora en una condición similar, pero en esta etapa tan crucial para lograr llegar a la gran final.

After a regular season where Magallanes achieved a goal that seemed quite distant midway through the season—qualifying for the Round Robin in spectacular fashion—demonstrating their fighting spirit and ability to rise from the ashes and assert their dominance, Magallanes now finds itself in a similar position, but at this crucial stage in their quest to reach the grand final.
Así como comenzó la temporada, comenzó el Round Robin. También me gusta ser neutral a pesar de ser magallanero; cuando lo hace bien se le aplaude y cuando no, simplemente hay que aceptarlo. Sin embargo, en los dos últimos partidos Magallanes ha devuelto la esperanza a los fanáticos. En la jornada de ayer, 15 de enero, vimos un excelente juego por parte de Magallanes, e incluso el partido anterior, correspondiente al 14 de enero, también fue importante al conseguir la victoria ante Caribes de Anzoátegui.
Hasta la fecha de hoy, 16 de enero, día en el que redacto y publico este post, ya todos los equipos han jugado la mitad de sus partidos establecidos para este Round Robin, es decir, han disputado 8 de los 16 encuentros programados. Podemos decir que a partir de hoy comienza la última fase, donde todo podría pasar.

Lo cierto es que, detallando y analizando los posibles resultados que podrían favorecer a Magallanes, tomando en cuenta que solo clasifican los dos primeros equipos que lideren la tabla al final del Round Robin, estos serían los escenarios, basados en simulaciones, también llamadas fe para los magallaneros, que deben ocurrir para mantener viva la esperanza de pasar a la gran final. Sin dejar de mencionar que Cardenales está al mando y de forma contundente, pero como he dicho antes, el béisbol es impredecible.

Hoy, 16 de enero, se juegan los encuentros Magallanes vs Bravos y Águilas vs Caribes. Magallanes necesita una victoria ante Bravos para quedar con récord de 4 ganados y 5 perdidos. En otra instancia, también le favorece una derrota de Caribes ante Zulia, aunque sería más lógico que perdiera Zulia, que es el equipo al que tenemos más cerca. Para formalizar la simulación que estoy realizando, digamos que gana Caribes solo a modo de ejemplo. Si esto ocurre, las acciones quedarían de la siguiente manera.

Partiendo de esta simulación en la búsqueda de resultados que favorezcan a Magallanes, si todo ocurre tal cual, en los dos próximos compromisos del equipo, estaríamos literalmente metidos en la pelea. No obstante, también me preocupa un punto débil que ha tenido Magallanes en este Round Robin, y es que de sus cuatro partidos jugados en casa ha perdido tres. Casualmente, estos próximos dos partidos planteados en mi simulación serán también en condición de local. Espero que esta vez Magallanes haga respetar su casa como se debe.
